چکیده
Weight is perceived through the combination of multiple sensory systems, and many factors can influence perception heaviness, including touch, visual, force senses. There have been significant advancements in development haptic interfaces throughout years. However, challenges limit progression to enable humans sense weight virtual reality (VR). This article presents an overview that how phenomenon contributes various types illusions. A systematic review has undertaken study VR, underlying technology renders mass a object, creation pseudo-haptic. We summarize approaches from perspective pseudo-haptic cues exhibit such as force, skin deformation, vibration, inertia, control-display (C/D) ratio, velocity, body gestures, audio-visual representation. The design are highlighted, research gaps discussed, accuracy precision, light discrimination, heavy rendering, absolute simulation.

John Dilworth [Philosophical Psychology 23(2010), pp. 23-42] Realistic uses of Virtual Reality (VR) technology closely integrate user training on virtual objects with VR-assisted user interactions with real objects. This paper shows how the Interactive Theory of Perception (ITP) may be extended to cover such cases. Virtual objects are explained as concrete models (CMs) that have an inner genera...
